Need to catch up.....
I. Love. Scrapbooking.
I started a few years into dating Jason and since then have scrapbooked every year we've been together. I scrapbook per year rather than per event like some people do. So everything we do goes into the scrapbook. It tends to take a lot of time to do all that, but if you stay on top of it, its not that big of a deal. I used to really be able to keep up with it. Last year if you would have asked me about my scrapbook I'd tell you that I was only a few months behind, which is really good. But things got busy, life happened and I haven't been able to keep up with it. Due to some events last year I stopped scrapbooking for a while and never finished last years book. As much as I've tried to finish it off so that I could start this years book, I've just been way too busy this year. I've also started an additional book, our wedding album. So not only do I have to work on last years book, I have my wedding scrapbook... pretty much doubling my amount of work. Pretty much every chance I had this year to scrapbook was spent on the wedding album, therefore not finishing last years book.
Finally this weekend I am going to have some time to catch up and hopefully finish off last years book. Considering we're over halfway done with this year already, I really should start it pretty soon! haha.
I'm counting down the days to going to DC to scrapbook... pretty soon it'll be down to hours! I can't wait. Not only do I get to scrapbook, but I get to see my cousin and her 2 kids - one of them being the new baby! And I get to see my mom and grandma and 2 aunts. So it should be a fun filled girls weekend! I can't wait.
Jason is pretty excited too... he gets to have the place to himself. He managed to get Saturday off so I think he's going to make a trip to the hobby shop to hang out with the guys. Its been a while since he's had time to do that, so it'll be good that he can go do that. I also heard him mention taking Buster to the dog park. That will sure make Busters day!
2 days till scrapbooking in DC!
Bathroom update: The shower curtain matched PERFECTLY! Almost as if I had chosen the paint based on that shower curtain! So the curtain is hung, the rugs are out and the towels are up and the place looks great! It really does brighten up the whole room to have such bright and fun colors in there. I took some photos that I was going to post, but I don't really like the way they turned out. So when I have a chance, I'll take some new pics to post... hopefully soon. :)
