I could probably sit here and list a number of things that are pet peeves... but lately one in particular has been bothering me. That pet peeve is when someone tells you they are going to do something and then they don't. I would much rather have that person tell me they aren't going to do it, or won't get to it for a month than tell me they are going to take care of it and I have to find out later it didn't happen. Unfortunately you end up not really trusting people when they say they are going to do something. Which is sad... but I guess thats life.
There's only so far some excuses will take you. Lately my favorite have been, we're busy or money is tight. Well.... look around, everyone is busy, money is tight for everyone in this economy.. So guess what? I don't want to hear it and its not much of an excuse anymore. Everyone has problems and issues they are dealing with. It seems to be the new thing lately, lets compare and see who's busiest! haha. Why can't everyone stop making excuses for the things that they should be doing? Well of course, that would mean they'd have to admit they were wrong or that they would have to go out of their way to do something. Heaven forbid!
But anyways... no amount of my complaining or blogging about it will change anything. Just a little venting on my part. :)

A packing update: After working all weekend on packing and cleaning and organizing, I'm realizing we seemed to have a lot more stuff jammed in this tiny apartment than someone realized (Jason! haha). I'll empty a closet or drawer or shelf and pack everything up and it seems to be that every time I turn around there is a new pile of stuff! I think its growing on its own! haha. Its amazing at how great organization can pack so much stuff in such a small place!
So even though its not all done, I did get a great deal done and can't imagine how I would have gotten it all done had I gone out of town this weekend!
Our move date is less than 2 weeks away... hopefully we can get it all packed by then!
