Its officially fall. The temperature has dropped, the colors have started to change (just barely) and its time to get ready for the upcoming holiday season which will bring families together. In preparation, the fall cleaning has started and for the first time I've been able to decorate for Halloween!!!
This weekend I started my fall cleaning. We've been in our new place for about 3 months and after trying many different vacuums and ways to keep all the hardwood floors clean, I'm going back to the basics. I dragged out the broom and went and bought a new mop. After cleaning the floors on my hands and knees a few times, I decided I just couldn't take it anymore. I never bothered using a mop before because our kitchen and bathrooms were so small that it was faster to just get on my hands and knees to clean them.
After getting some of the cleaning done I dragged out the box of Halloween stuff and the couple bags of stuff I got from my grandma. I made another mess in the dining room from all the bubble wrap and boxes some of the stuff was in, but I sure had fun doing it! Our place is now officially decorated for Halloween! This year we actually had enough stuff to put out and say we decorated! I took some pictures last night but got busy and forgot to upload them. So for now still no pictures.
