I finally was able to get some photos loaded to flickr. Yea! So this will mostly be a photo post because theres just not that much more to say about moving into the new place. :) There will be a lot of "before's" and not many "after" pics. One because we haven't gotten a whole lot done, but then also because I haven't gone around and taken many pics of what we have gotten done.

This is one of the "before" pics of the dining room. I need to take another one to show how all the furniture looks in this room. Maybe I'll get to that this weekend.



Friday night after moving most of the stuff... we seemed to forget a few important things.. Chairs! So everyone had to sit on the floor. Thankfully we had the couch cushions to make it a little more comfortable.

After everything was moved in we finally had a chance to just chill. This time we at least had our furniture in and some folding chairs around for people to sit in! We love how big our living room is now to be able to accommodate everyone!



This is sort of an "after" picture of the bedroom once everything was in its place and put together. Its only going to be a temporary after picture because I just got new bedding and plan to do some painting and decorating in the near future. I can't wait!



And this is our office. Its right next to the bedroom and is the same size. We were hoping to get the desks and a sofa bed in here, but with the desks we got and the layout of them, I don't think it will work. Oh well....

And this is sort of an "after" ... this is after putting together my desk. Look at the nice big windows!



And this is Jason at his desk. Our desks will be back to back forming a T shape.



And then there's DECORATING! Not that a whole lot has been done... in fact really nothing has been done since pretty much all that is still packed.. but I did manage to put these up...
I think they look great above the fireplace. (this is the fireplace in the dining room)



And then last night I went out to pick up our new bedding! I love it! I've been looking for a quilt or comforter in the blue and browns and had never really found what I wanted... or if I did, it cost way to much. I got such a great deal on this one! I still can't believe it! Jason gave me a hard time because I won't put it on the bed just yet... I want to do all the painting in the bedroom before I put this in there. Hopefully that will be done within the next few weeks!



The hope for this weekend? To get the stripping of the cupboards done and possibly painted. And I may even get the kitchen painted! So that's the hope. I have a nice 3 day weekend to get all that done plus more unpacking of course. The boxes and piles of stuff everywhere is really starting to drive me nuts! We have such a big place that I shouldn't have to be stepping over and around anything! hahaha. So check back soon for more updates!

(I'm a little sad that all the 4th of July decorations I just got from Gma are packed and I can't get to them... so I won't be able to go all out and decorate for the 4th this year.... :( I'm still going to try and at least get 1 or 2 things out to use this weekend... we'll see if I can get to them. )
