I'm about to do the biggest spring cleaning.... we've decided to sell Jason's car!
Its something we've debated about for a long time now. Ever since Jason changed jobs last summer and we were both headed in the same direction every morning, we stopped using his car. We had greatly reduced the amount we used both cars by moving here in the first place because I would take the Trolly into work and then that left with Jason using 1 car. But now that we both head downtown for everything we do, and we take the trolly, his car has been unused for a while now. Of course we drive it occasionally to make sure it still runs and everything, but we really could do just fine without it.
Well, recently as we've been looking at new apartments, most of them have been much closer to the T and much closer to work and school. Some of the places have been as close as being within walking distance of the T. If that's the case, then we'll definitely not need 2 cars and actually if it weren't for family and friends out of the area, we wouldn't need a car at all. But we can't go that far because we do like to travel and have all the family and friends out of state. And even with the apartments that haven't been super close to the T, its a short drive over to the parking lot to get on the T... and with these gas prices going the way they are, it just doesn't make sense to drive anymore. So after lots of thinking and talking about all the possibilities, we've decided to downsize our cars... to only 1.
So what do I get to do this weekend?? Clean the car! Considering its not been driven a whole lot, its not that dirty. Just needs a good wipe down inside, a little vacuuming and then a good wash and probably a waxing. And then it'll look brand new again! So that will be my fun job this weekend. I'm soo excited! haha.
Not only do I get to detail a car... I get to start packing! I realized last night that we have just over a month... a month that we are already booked to do soo much! So it'll be crazy... but well worth it.
If I can ever find some time... maybe I'll get some new photos posted. I have a few that I've been meaning to put up..... we'll see. :)
