I think I am one of the rare few that can say I had never seen ANY of the Star wars movies .... until now. This past Saturday Jason was flipping through the channels and came across one of them and insisted that since I had never seen any of them that this would now be the time for me to catch up with the rest of the world. We caught the last few min of the 4th one and then continued to watch #5. I have to say, I don't think I was really missing much.... but it was fun seeing how much Jason enjoyed explaining everything to me so I could understand what the heck was going on. #6 was on Sunday night and it was what was on our TV even though I preferred to have Father of the Bride 1&2 play. I think it was around half way that I realized that Jason had fallen asleep and so that is when I told him that if he wasn't even going to stay awake to watch it, I was definitely not going to stay awake to watch it! Soon after that we were both fast asleep... So I have officially seen at least 1 of the Star wars movies. I'd like to keep it that way, but I have a feeling I'll be forced to watch the rest of them when they continue to play over the next few weeks...... I'm going to have to figure something out to get out of that! haha.
Other than, we had a fairly good weekend. We did most of our running around on Saturday. It was suppose to be a quick trip to Robinson to get what we needed and then be home by noon.... but that didn't happen. Once in Robinson we went to a few more stores than needed and then we ended up on the other side of the city at this bike place and the adjoining construction warehouse. That was certainly an interesting place! Before I knew it, we had driven all over the east side and finally made it back home by 4 pm. It didn't take long in driving around on the east side to decide that Jason was right... we don't want to move to the east side. Not that its a bad area or anything, its just really busy and the traffic is crazy.
