That is how long we've been married... as of today at 11:30. Time sure does fly!

Last year today I was surprised at just how calm I was. It wasn't till after the fact that I realized there were probably a lot of little details that I should have paid more attention too... while at the same time, I was very glad I didn't because I didn't stress over all the little things. All in all, I think the day was just about perfect. hehe. Of course there are a few things I say I wish we would have.... but its done and over with and no sense in wishing for something that we can't change. So the day was great. The whole weekend was great. It meant so much to us that some of our friends and family were able to come in a few days before the wedding. They were all a great help with getting things done on Friday and Saturday before we went into panic mode of the last minute details. I loved the fact that before things really got started on Saturday we were able to take everyone to our favorite spot for breakfast and show them our new town. I do have to say that is one of the best memories of the weekend. I really did love the fact that for many, it was a weekend experience. Most everyone was able to arrive early Saturday afternoon and hang out the rest of the day. And then of course Sunday was the wedding and then everyone headed their own ways.
So now here we are a year later. A lot has happened in the past year... and yet, we don't really feel like its been a year. Time went by so fast and although things have happened and they have changed, in the general sense we're just about in the same spot. We haven't moved, we're still working and going to school, still busy as ever, still doing our best to keep in touch with everyone even though we're miles away from everyone, and still enjoying life day by day.

So, Happy 1 yr Anniversary to US! To celebrate tonight we're planning on having dinner at our new favorite spot, il Pizziola and then its home to have some cake (we ordered the same cake that we had last year since we didn't have a top layer to freeze) which I can't wait for!
