Someone came in to work last week sick... and sure enough I got sick! Of course this all happened on what was suppose to be my wonderfully relaxing 3 day weekend. By the end of the afternoon on Friday I started getting the beginning symptoms of a cold and it only got worse from there. My worst days were Sunday and Monday which caused me to call in sick on Monday and then on Tuesday. I did make it into work this morning but wish I could have stayed in bed because my head feels like its going to explode and I've almost gone through a half a box of tissues already and its not even lunch time! How lovely!
Sure enough, the end of the day yesterday rolled around and Jason started feeling crummy. By dinner time we were both on the couch debating over who was going to get up to make dinner. I ended up giving in and making it... but all I did was through stuff in the oven to bake for an hour... so it was pretty easy.
Tonight... if I have the energy, I need to wash everything and start disinfecting so that hopefully I don't get sick again and get all this sickness out of our house!
Upon arriving to work this morning I also learned that I was not the only one who managed to catch this nasty cold, but my boss and 2 other coworkers have as well. So this is when I want to say to the person who started all this.... you should have gone home when your sick!
Oh well... there's not much I can do now except pray for Jason to get over this quickly so we don't have to waste any more weekends on being sick!
